Default spun bearings

i was wondering what spun bearings were and if they are expensive to replace

Well spun bearings is when the clearances on your main bearings failed to keep the crank positioned correctly. However you would need to see which one is damaged. You would need to have your crank polished and your cylinder walls bored out. Its expensive because it involves more than just replacing your bearings. You can stay with your short block and have it rebuilt or check into purchasing a used short block. What type of motor are you running?
