In order:
Manifold Absoloute Pressure (sensor) Reads the amount of pressure in the Intake Manifold


Idle Air Control Valve (sensor/motor) Regulates the amount of air going PAST the throttle body when the engine is at an idle speed


Throttle Position Sensor (sensor) Reads the position of the throttle plate and sends a signal to the ECU to adjust fuel and spark curves.In the lower pic, its the little blqack sensor on the side of the throttle body.


Fuel Pressure Regulator (Self-explanitory)

Blow Off Valve (turbo part) Google it. Lets off excess pressure between the throttle plate and turbo blades on a turbo car.


Integra Type R (JDM and USDM car) USDM ITR, Badged as an Acura:

Yea nice post. i know when i started using and visiting H-T(honda tech) i saw a bunch of abbreviations like IBTL (in before the lock) and other little ones.

the majority of honda-tech woudla given him a link to the search button or told him if he doesn't know what they are to stay away from engines and that he's pathetic etc. etc. etc. Nice

Although one thing I disagree..."FPR - self explanatory" - a lot of pple don't realize the full function of this, they jsut think it equalizes fuel over the fuel rail, but the FPR also acts to send the fuel back to the tank if it's in excess of I think it's 3 cu cm.

Definatley nice response though...

hahah i just figured it out a day or too ago myself...and ive been onhere for like forever......by the way since we're all in great helping moods today what the hell is that picture a few posts above me that looks like somebody's knuckles or something? havent been able to figure that one out

 

Thats why I devoted my 3 years in the parts business to my customers happiness.
If I cant help someone out, then I dont need to be certified from the Automotive Service Excellence.

I will change the FPR explanation though...
