Default I want to move my battery in my 90 DX REX

Thats pretty much it, I want to put it in the hatch towards the back.....do the terminal cables pull out and stretch farther or do I have to get new ones how do I go about doin this?

You can buy battery relocation kits that have everything you need.

you definitely need to lengthen the factory wires.
You only need to lengthen the power wire ( the one that comes out of the + terminal on the battery )
Go to an auto parts store and buy a battery box.
You will also need a new ground wire. they sell those with terminals already on them and in several lengths.
So install the battery box on the back of the car, then put the battery in.
Take the new ground wire you bought and connect it to the - of the battery.
Then grind a spot bare to the metal where you can attach the ground wire.
look for an existing threaded hole.
Then go to the engine bay and patch the + wire on the engine to the new longer "same gauge" wire you bought.
make sure you insulate the connection very well. Put a 30 amp in line fuse on that wire and route it to the battery box. Make sure it doesn't rub against anything that can cut through the insulation. tie wrap the ground wire on the engine to keep it from bouncing around, but don't cut it. You might need to use it again some day.
