Default Help softening up ride

Just recently installed a Koni yellow and Ground Control setup and would like to know the proper way to soften up the ride.

The spring rates are 450f 600r on an Integra

As for now the shocks are set to the hardest setting because I dont want to wear them out fast by making them too soft. Any one have good advice (besides less aggressive spring rates)? Maybe just advise me on how many turns to soft I should set the shocks.

And no the car isn't "dumped"!

what is not obvious?

first of all, who told you to get 450f 600r springs? THATS STIFF!

second of all, you adjusted teh shocks full stiff. hello?!

what is there to say? what else is there to do than the obvious?

lol No one told me to get that stiff. Not only did I get a great deal from Evil Nick M but I had been looking for 450f 500-550r so 600r seemed ok.

And I know its obvious to soften up the shocks its just I want to do so without causing any extreme extra wear on the shocks.

An obvious answer would be.......

Two turns soft or Four turns soft.

The question isnt how to make it softer....its how to make it softer without killing my shocks at an excessive rate.

third, putting your shocks to full stiff is doing no favor to the lifespan of your shocks, probably making it worse.

find the ride you want by adjusting and quit bitching because you got stiff springs.

Thanks for trying to make me look stupid instead of actually giving me some straight answers.

I dont' have crazy knowledge in suspension or else I wouldn't be asking this question.

Sounds like you need some lower spring rates.

Put it to full soft and try it. It will not hurt anything.. If that's still too much then buy new springs from ground control

I guess I was just paranoid about ruining a great set of shocks.

Adjusted them last night and its obviously still stiff but at the same time a very nice ride.

One full turn in the rear and one half turn in the front....Made a world of difference
