Default Turbo integra problem....(if you have experience) HELP

I just recently installed a greddy 18g turbo into my integra with an obd1 p28 tuned with a basemap from J-K tuning. Before this i had a vafc tuned to my car. After finishing my setup i decided to keep the vafc. Randomly, after the car has been running for a while it will randomly start to lose power. the cd player turns off and the lights will dim, then the car just dies while i am driving. This has happened numerous times so i figured it was either the battery or the alternator. I replaced BOTH of these things and it still happens. Does anyone know what could be the problem? I checked the connections on the battery and replaced the terminals.

Any help is appreciated... THanks

parasetic draw( there is a short ..or open wire that's causing drain possibly) check ground connections check battery leads..bench test alternator..sometimes they come faulty right out of the box..sounds like an electical problem not turbo related..i could be wrong though

THis is JCards26. i know its not turbo related. i was thinking it could be faulty grounds. The transmission ground is slightly frayed . Should i pull the alternator and see if it came bad out of the box?

take it to your local schucks and have them do a bench test on it to see if its puttin out the right voltage..and check all your connections

I had the EXACT same problem with my DC2... Battery died so i replaced that... battery died again, so I checked the alternator and found the alternator was dead, so I replaced that. Then the alternator died again right away. Put another alternator in, and it died right away again... I ended up taking it to the dealer and they told me it was a loose ground wire somewhere. After they fixed the ground wire everything was fine.
