Default N/A Ls/Vtec

This is my set up. What else can i do to it. It is my daily driver and i just want to hit the drag strip on weekends.. How much power should i be expecting.. I still need another 1000 miles to break in my car.. After break in i will dyno tune it..

nice setup! ....i assume its chipped?... i estimate 190-205whp...you have the springs and retainers, you should of saved up a lil more and put in cams as well..that alone would put more ponies on the dyno.

yes dirty engine bay.. that was a pic while it was still being finished.. i do need to clean it though.. i got the type r head with th vavletrain in it.. and the gsr cams.. i will go with skunk 2 stage 2.. but i want to dyno it first and see what it does before the cams..

The car also has skunk2 full race coil overs, and the complete energy suspension bushing kit. For brakes i have gsr disks all the way around with stainless steel brake lines and an upgraded master and slave..

im scared of washing the engine bay myself.. i know im gonna mess something up!

nice...any more plans with the motor n/a or boost?...save a lil more if you go all motor, and ditch the IM, get bigger injectors, ITB's and tune, and you'll be owning

yeah im going to stay n/a.. i love the reliability and the constant power.. My wife has a 93 cx and we are currently building a dart block for her.. she wants boost.. she rides with a 6 puck act unsprung clutch.. she is nuts..lol

i'm not going to lie.. i do not know anything about itb's.. i have seen them but have not researched on what gains you will have or anything..

keep it in mind, i have a friend who had a fully built LS/VTEC in his EG6 hatch, rhd, on stage 3 cams, ITB's and running 101 oct...being in the back seat my feet never touched the ground.

Those cams are killing you. Otherwise, nice setup.

And ITB's are not necessary. An air filter would be cool, though.

You're running the stocker's correct? You should probably step up to OBD2 Prelude or some 310s

What times can i be expecting to run with this setup.. i really want to beat my friend with a boosted 323.. he ran a 13.9... is there any chance i am in that range?
