well all 99-00 fronts are the same(minus the lip/grille)..but aniwaise..its not just cutting to take the front support off..but u'll need the whole front end..maybe some further fabrication too..but search cause im shure someone else has done this

Weld new core support, cut fenders in half, weld fenders together, bolt new hood on. Done deal. Rice made easy.

lol that IS how you do it though. I had a buddy that wrecked his 95 and put a 99-00 front end on it. Gotta get a new radiator support and weld in. the 99 hood will bolt up, then you gotta cut the fenders in half and weld them together.. and put LOTS of bondo on it to make them look right

I didn't think it looked bad at all.. but I dont think I would do it to my car.

Finding this by searching, took me almost 20 seconds:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 90civichb &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">you need to have knowledge of how to weld, paint, prep, etc. to do this type of work.

The core support from the del sol has to be removed and replaced with the 99-00 civic core support, the hood needs to be installed, front bumper, headlights etc...

The hardest part of doing this conversion, and what keeps anyone who ever thought about it from actually doing it is the fact that you have to cut the rear of the del sol fender off, the front of the 99-00 civic fender off, and line them up and weld them.. then prep it all for paint....

I only know this because I saw a full story on one a long time ago.

I personally wouldn't do such a conversion because
of the cost and the overall uselessness of the front.

The del sol front looks HOT with a civic lip mounted to fit and painted to match.. or not..

Its up to you, but I would stick with stock </TD></TR></TABLE>
