I have the NRG engine damper for my civic but i have the b16 swap, will the SOHC engine damper still work? How the hell does it mount the directions are so ***-backwards I cant make hide nor hare of them....

Are there any DIY's on this install? Brackets are shaped all funky and I cant figure out which one goes where and how....but i know its somewhere on the driverside mount and shock tower...

I am not sure if the NRG damper will mount to your B16 engine. I would say probably not.

If you use a J's Racing engine damper for 94-01 Integras and 92-95 EG Civics it will fit. However you still have to cut a small notch in the larger bracket so it will clear the brake master cylinder. The J's Racing damper is made for the JDM hondas and there master cylinder is on the other side.

 

the SOHC kit will not work on a DOHC mount.

Yea i got the sohc kit for a 95 civic ex coupe from NRG, ill get the p/n and some pics when i get home [at work now] i wanna get this thing on it was like $100 bux!
