What type of cams would be the best with an ls/vtec turbo i have a b18b block and b16a head. so i wanted to know what cams are best for turbo, or are the b16 cams just as good. would itr cams do better.

stick with n/a cams, they have been proven to produce more ponies then turbo cams because of the lobes...but you have many to choose from, buddy club, skunk2's...etc. GL!

 

IMO, if your going turbo, build the motor for lower compression and BOOST IT UP!
i wouldn't even worry about the cams. just my $.02 though.

 

but with cams then you can get more power!

 

gsr cams...unless you want to spend alot of money

 

GSR exhaust cam and ITR intake cam and call it a day!...

 

CTR cams are very good...

 

My Integra actually has an ls/VTEC turbo with a first gen B16 head. I opted to keep the stock B16 cams. My engine is about 3 years old and driven 3-4 times a week and still makes 386hp to the wheels on 93 pump gas.

So far it has been a good setup for me I wish you luck with yours.
