mugen ecu info
are you talking a true mugen ECU or an ebay "mugen" ECU? There is a HUGE difference.
even if you are talking about a true mugen ECU, if your setup doesn't match the ECUs intended setup it will not run at it's best anyway.

First of all before any of us "Yanks" here in the US comment on "rolling road" that's what Europeans call "dyno" over there.
Secondly SCREW the mugen ECU. It is a predetermined map that cannot possibly compensate for the mods on your engine.
I know it may be tough being in Ireland, but does anyone there install/tune Uberdata or Crome? These programs are FREE Hondata-like programs that allow you to utilize all of the Hondata features such as tunability, full throttle shift, drag launch, check engine shift light, etc. but for much cheaper.
I had my B18C5 tuned on Uberdata for a total of $200.00 including the install and tuning on a rolling road/dyno.
Once your map is set for your engine you don't have to keep retuning it at all. Only once you do more mods to the engine do you want to have it retuned.
The Mugen map is a generic program - I had the exact map in my wife's old B16A, and once I dropped in another popular US tuned P28 ECU from Kenji the whp rose by 3 and the car pulled harder all throughout the powerband. Only downside was the gas mileage suffered.
Anyways if nobody has Uberdata or Crome there get the Hondata - it's worth the extra cash, it's tunable to compensate for any future mods, and you can have your partial throttle maps leaned out so you can get the most out of your petrol/gas too.
Hope that helps!
