Distributor??? What OBD??
I am installing a jdm motor in my hatch to replace the B20vtec that is in it currently. I looked everything over and the only thing I can see as a problem is the wiring on the distributor. The JDM motor I just got has two plugs that need to be plugged into the engine harness. The motor currently in the car I think is from a 99' Civic Si so I'm guessing that it is OBD2, and the JDM motor has a OBD1 plug. What is going to be my best bet and cheapest way out??? I don't want to just install the distributor from my current motor over to the new one, due to possible problems with it. Thanks for any help. Do I just need a adapter harness, or a new distributor???
Thanks for the link, but It seems that I need the only adapter harness they do not offer. I have this JDM distributor with the OBD1 plugs and the car has an engine harness for a OBD2a 96+ . Any other companies that may make it???
