car wont run right
it starts up and it does idle a lil high but when i push the throttle to 1/4 throttle
it bogs out and sometimes dies and sometimes sputters at 300rpm......

then if you eas into the throttle it does rev up so about 5K and thats about where i stopped...... it redlines at 9K.....

 

more details,,what motor,ecu,and codes? how longs has it been doing this ?

 

Sounds like timing off a tooth. Common when you mash the gas and it bogs/runs like ****

9000rpm redline eh? You have a built motor, and you ask here for help with absolutely no info on the engine? You won't get good info.

But yes, check the timing, sounds like an issue. Check your dizzy/spark aswell, and your fuel. That's about as good as the info will get until you give us better info.

Better info = Better answers .

 

i thought it might be that as well as the fp might be going bad or went bad......
it does have 260K on it lol

and its been doing this since i first fired it up lol

i wish i had a built motor so i could redline it lol i have or well had lots of plans when i had money, as soon as i get all this wiring squared away and she runs good i can upgrade the internals and the put on my turbo kit........
but that must wait

 

check engine light?

 

sounds like timing issues... see if you can see any CEL.....

 

timings good, fuel preasures good......
found out #3 cyl is dead

grounded out all four cylinders 1 at a time and #3 did not change idle thus concluding my worst fear i think the valve the guy replaced did it wrong.....
now i need to check compretion
