i noticed when i slowly pull up my hand brake the 4th click slips and it slides to the 5th click. im not exactly sure why it does this. can anyone help?? ive never heard of this problem before.

ive also noticed that ever since i bought my car when im pushing the car in neutral it sounds like one of the brake pads is rubbing the rotor? i cant hear it when the car is on because the car is too loud. help would be much appreciated!

Dunno about your handbrake, did you look at the gear teeth on it? It's not something I would worry about as long as it works.

As for the rubbing sound, the pads normally touch the rotors. I've yet to hear a hub that was perfectly silent when rotated. If it's abnormally loud, you may want to check the installation, but unless the pads wear faster on that wheel I'd say it's normal (assuming it is the brake pad you're hearing).
