That doesn't look like a stock muffler to me since it is awfully close to the LCA. And it also doesn't look like an authentic ASR brace. Where did you get it from?

I have a similar problem in that my exhaust (kteller piping & magnaflow muffler) does not allow for a rear sway bar due to the way it was installed. Basically the bend over the rear LCA is too close. I'm going to have a shop cut the piping after the resonator, rotate the piping, and shorten the hanger above rear LCA to provide more clearance. They quoted me $150 to fix piping and install rear sway. Is that a fair price?

that is not the stock muffler for a VX, it's no where as close to the LCA as that.
Obviously a replacement from some shop that shoehorned it in there.
pick up a vibrant for the 92-95 hatch for cheap and it will fit with no problems. (the vibrant muffler is sold on H-T for cheap)

Stock VX & CX exhaust piping is like 1" diameter (or mabey 1.25")... I hated that little tiny straw sticking out of the back of mine. As everyone else said, that is not a VX muffler...

Hey, is there any chance you can get us some pictures of the special VX diffuser on the other side. I've been thinking about adding this to my CX. You can see it on the drivers side in this picture covering the void where a second muffler could go...

Well I kinda wanted to see where/how it mounts to the car. I'm not exactly sure if it's a good investment or not, but I do like having special doo-dads for my CX...

that "VX" stock muffler is as real as your "ASR" brace.
