Del Sol rear disc brakes on EG hatchback question
Vehicle=1992 Honda Civic CX hatchback
I just installed rear disc brakes that I bought off someone who said they were from a Del Sol (I believe this). I used the Del Sol Parking brake cables that were attached to the entire swap (All links used along w/ damper/spring), but the e-brake lines are very short and I was not able to mount them with the factory brake line mounting locations. I used zip ties. I now have to pull very high up on lever to get the e-brake to start.
Is it possible to use the parking brake lines that were on my rear drum brakes set-up or do I need to get 92-95 Si e-brake lines?
I did 4-wheel brake bleed according to Chilton's manual and still have not as good initial brake pedal feel. Do I need to change prop. valve (if so from what vehicle or where)? Master Cylinder too? My stock M/C is 13/16" right now.
Sorry for all the questions. I'm just new to the Honda scene as I am a previous Nissan S13 guy for the last 8 years. Thanks. BTW, I did search.

Del Sol e-Brake cables don't fit the EG hatch. Also, you cannot reuse your drum brake cables because they are completely different. For easy availablitiy of used parts, you can source some 94-01 Integra 3-door cables. They fit perfectly except for 1 bracket underneath the drivers side. It's easy to make the bracket work with a special body-bolt you can get from Lowes (looks like a black bee-hive). There is even a hole in the body in just the right spot. Simply screw your bee-hive bolt through the hole in the bracket & into the drain hole in the chassis. Or for a perfect bolt-on fit get some 92-95 Si hatchback cables (around $50 each new).
You should NOT secure the cables with zip-ties because if the plastic ties break, your car can roll away...
