See if all of your flanges are lined up and tight and make sure there are no cracks in the header.

Did you forget to put a gasket between the header & cat?

I put everything on.. and everything is properly tighten... and the header wasn't cracked because they were brand new

First, it's a header, not headers. Secondly, could be an exhaust leak from your piping, or it could be from a lack of properly tightened bolts on the header. I am assuming that you re-used some gasket that was cracked. Just take off what you put on recently and you will find the culprit. Finally, hit spell check for ****'s sake.

In case you were wondering, spell check has the "ABC/Check Mark" picture.

Ninja edit: Don't tell me you're in college? Wow, just wow.

i don't understand, if your dad is a mechanic, then why not ask him?
i would check you bolts where it meets the cat. or did you think that maybe that's how that brand of header sounds.
