i am hooking up a autometer tach in my eg and need to know which wire on the harness to the distributer to hook the tach up to.i was told green but i dont have a green wire,lol help will be much appreciated.

 

i think its the solid blue wire or the blue w/ a white stripe wire on the distributor.

 

the 2 wire plug or the plug with lots of wires?

 

i think its on the plug with the 2 wires.

Just check both plugs for those two wire colors.

The wire is the same color at the back of your gauge cluster as well. Even if you don't have a factory tach.

 

so i can just run it behind the cluster insted of into the engine bay?that is even better,lol thanks

 

yeah just take your cluster out and check for the wire i'm pretty sure its the solid blue wire
