Well I have my cat out of the car because I am changeing the pipe behind it ( with the resonator) well the bolts holding the Cat to the resonater pipe ( Exhaust pipe B, from helms) were rusted solid broke 2 racthets trying to get them loose before I went to 3\4 drive and rounded them. went down to wonder muffler and had the guy cut the bolts off he did so now I have the stems and the rectanglar heads of the bolts stuck in the end of my cat any sugesttions will hellp at this point I feel like I have tried everything.I am ready to get a new cat.

I have already removed the heads of the bolts with a grinder thinking they were just rusted, then I took a punch to try and get the studs out no luck, , tried drilling will take 3 day to do. seriously pissed over here

 

put it in a vise and try to punch them out.

 

tried using a torch, then punching it out?
