Default Weird Noise

I was driving today and started hearing a clanking noise on the front passenger side. I'm going to take it in to the dealership tomorrow but was just curious if anyone else has heard something similar? I did a search for rocks in the wheel but didn't see anything--also looked under to see if i had anything dragging. No luck so far.

probably a stupid answer, but have u checked to make sure eveyrthing is secured in ur trunk? example, spare tire, jack, tire iron, etc? maybe something came loose, or could be something with the suspension

So I dropped my car off this afternoon at Honda and I just got the call back from them.

They said they located the problem to be the rear drivers side strut that was making the knocking noise.

Im not sure if this is a common problem or not but they are replacing the strut tommorow.

strut, those 2006 civics have all sorts of front end noises. Sturts are the now more comon and the tick noies from the passenger side are usually a motor mount that can either be adjusted or replaced. Which here they are back ordered. Since these cars have came out I have replaced countless struts assemblies for these. Iam surprised there are no bulletins about this from Honda of America.
