I have a bubble on the rear tire of my accord....
My tire has a bubble on the edge, say about less than an inch followed by another bubble that is smaller, my question is is this bad while driving? I've driven it 200 miles the other day on a tirp up north and it seemed fine, but was just wondering if anyone can elaborate, or if anyone has ever had this problem before...thanks
that bubble is usually caused by u rubbing the tire against a curb. might want to get that looked at by a tire shop, with time the bubble will grow and may blow
tire shop can't not fix a cupped/bubble on the sidewall, it's caused the budge because of under steel cable/nylon structural mesh is damaged.
have it changed out asap, when that things pop, the whole donut will blew out.
I think you will know what happend if that happens on the freeway.
most of the time it's from parallel parking, curbing wheel on hill, hitting the concret parking stopper and over pumped tire pressure

(If they believe it's defective instead of damaged.)
The only thing that bubble can do is get bigger & then blow out.

can also be done if the place who installed your tire damaged the tire in the process. we had one come back yesterday at work that the installer damaged the tire.
the tire blew out on the customer, but luckily she was only moving slowly.
etierh way, replace that tire asap
