Bottom end blues .. PLEASE HELP !

Default Bottom end blues .. PLEASE HELP !

Im doing the mini-me swap.im staying obd-0 and will be running a rpm-switch for VTEC.but i have the d16y8 head w/my 91 si intake manifold and distributor.im trying to figue out which bottom end is better for the mini-me between the d16y7 and d16a6 ? ill be going N/A for bout a year then maybe boosting it some.after the block is picked what pistons are best and then what crank out of the a6 and y7 ? thanks

total hearsay: something about the design of the y7 & y8 blocks causes starvation of oil to the 4th piston/connecting rod at high rpm's
read this once and it stuck.....so take it with a grain of salt

Don't use a switch to activate VTEC.
