i just did a swap in my 96 hatch, i went from the dx motor(d16y7) to the ex motor(d16y8 fully built)

i wanted to know how i can get the VTEC to work......i see the 2 plugs on my head but what do i need to hook it up to my ecu......what are the pieces called?

I assume you are using a vtec ecu also, right?

All you need is some wire the proper connectors on one end and ecu pins on the other.

or if you cant do that or you want a cleaner look, then just get a obd2a civic ex wire harness.
