WTF is going ON 96 engine with 93 mounts???
So i bought this JDM b18b obd1 on ebay from japanese star motor. well i bought everything and nothings fitting into my 95 civic coupe
after hours of research. i foudn it to be a 91 integra gs motor usdm. WRONG.
above the headers it states its a 96. However the 90 93 mounts fit on it. and my wiring harness didnt match up from an usdm integra b18b1. not to mention the fact that the valve cover is smooth. what the hell do i have here guys? the guy tells me i have he sent me and obd2 motor instead. but yet the mounts do not fit!!

Sounds like you got an OBD II motor, the mounts should be a direct bolt up operation and you'll need to switch out the dist, alternator and injectors for the harness to work.
well that makes no sense because its stamped on the motor B18B not b1. and also the 92 integra moutn doesnt exactly fit right. is thier a difference between the gsr moutn in 92 and the gs? for the upper left.

Sounds like maybe someone in Japan had done an engine swap w/ that engine into a DA, which could be why you ended up with those mounts?
