What is the best way to access the VSS on a 97 type SH?

Default What is the best way to access the VSS on a 97 type SH?

I am guessing I have to jack the vehicle up and access it from below the transmission?

Sorry. I mean the Vehicle Speed Sensor which I think is on the transmission

I got a VSS signal from one of the wires behind the gauge cluster. Sorry I don't remember which wire it was. Beats going through the firewall.

remove the intake, get a long extension then the stick the 10 mm socket into the single bolt that holds the vss down. be gentle as that screw tends to crack
