Default how to lower compression

i have a b18b block with forged pistons so i have a compression ratio of

12:5:1

are there ways to lower that compression without changing the pistons?

maybe a thicker headgasket?

because 12:5:1 compression is not so good when your running 92 octane

alot less hassle then taking off the head to put on another layer of gasket...

Why is that? Skunk, Omni, JG, etc. forgot to call you? Why did they all go for 11.5-1?
