General question about springs/shocks
I have a question about shocks/springs. I am lookign to get a good spring/shock combo and not spend aton of money. As far as springs are concerned I am leaning toward Skunk2 or H&R Limited edition springs. They both provide a 2" or so drop. Anyone got any other suggestions?
Also, can KYB AGX shocks handle a 2" drop, or do I really need to invest in Koni Yellows to be able to handle a drop like this and last me more than 2 months?

On a budget, I would probably pick regular lowering springs (Neuspeed, Eibach, H&R) with the right drop, and get either Illumina's or koni sports...
KYBs are decent, but they don't cover the range of options that the Illumina's or Yellows do. The lower you go, the stiffer the spring rates must be. The stiffer the rates, the stiffer the shock valving must be...
You can always just try the springs on stock shocks & see how it rides. It's not always as bad as people say. Besides, swaping shocks later is an easy afternoon project with a couple friends & some beers...

Thanks alot for your input. I found some Skunk2 lowering springs that lower about 2-2.25 inches for 130 shipped and Illuminas for about 375 shipped. Its a sponsor on honda-tech. Ive only dealt with about a 1.8" drop in the front, so 2.25 or so would be totally new to me. I am looking for something that will give my car a nice look and great fun, yet still retain its daily driveablity. H&R makes a limited edition spring that goes 2F/1.8R that looks real nice, but the skunk2 seems temping for some reason.

I would deffinently use H&R springs over Skunk. Most feedback on Skunk springs isn't so hot. H&R makes very high quality stuff...
