spring/shock question
hey everyone,i just purchased my 96 gsr, it has neuspeed lowering springs, and he said that the reason that it tends to bounce on rough roads, is because of matching the lowerin springs, and he has stock shocks, is this true? if it is, do i just need to get some shocks, and that will solve the problem? if so, what would you reccomend to buy, performance for dollar, is my modo, thanks alot for any advice, please help!!!
i think you mean he said is that it tends to bounce a lot because the springs are not matched with the shocks. better explanation is that the springs are too stiff for your shocks or its too low. im guessing this but maybe you have the nuespeed race springs.
to solve this problem, you need to buy better shocks that can handle the characteristic of your lowering springs. i suggest getting koni yellows, others will agree, but i believe they are about 125 dollar a piece. there are others such as bilstien and tokiko which cost lower than the konis but dont hold me on this.
try doing a search to find out.

im pretty sure they are the neuspeed race springs, i will prolly end up going with the tokicos, just to save some bucks. I figured i would prolly spend around 300 bucks for them, but three hundred is well worth it, for a much improved ride quality
