Someone tell me, What is the GREEN wire FOR?!? O2 sensor related.
I would have a pic, but imagestation doesn't seem to be working!
Anyway, a Honda O2 sensor has 4 wires coming out of it. 2 black, one white, and one green.
What does the green go to??? I know what the two black wires, and white do, but not the green. Anyone have any clue? I am pretty sure it isn't a ground wire.

That is the O2 sensor ground. It goes to D22.
The two black wires are power. One is 12V switched and the other is duty controlled by the ECU for the O2 heater. The 12V switched goes to A25 or C1 and the O2 heater wire goes to A6.
The white wire is the O2 sensor signal. It goes to D14.

my o2 sensor didnt come with instructions and none of the wire colors matched
had to go find out what color did what
Hmmmm...I got it wired up right(with no CEL) I had the the green wire just hanging in the air because I didn't know where to put it.
I have one of the blacks going to the battery with a 7.5A fused line, the other black going to A5, and the white sensor signal to D14.
Whats strange is the helms showed 2 secondary O2 sensor wires going to the D plug, and another going to A5. The wiring diagrams in the helms suck, so I couldn't get my CEL to go away until i just tried every combo.. The last thing I tried, is how it worked.

I currently have the same problem, what was the last combonation that you tried to get the CEL to turn off?
If you are wiring your secondary O2 sensor, I think the green goes to one of the pins on the D plug. It is labeled 2nd O2 sensor ground in the helms manual...I am just not sure what pin it exactly is off the top of my head.
