i have a 92 civic was curious if anyone knows what size and threading the screws/bolts are that are needed to hold the hood. I have no way of taking my car to a home depot and checking and when the people stole my car they didnt leave no screws from the previous CF hood. so if anyone knows the size(s) needed pls let me know thanks :D

 

i know they 12mm.but thats it.they about 1 inch long.

nope! there 10mm 1inch long and you probably wont find them at home depot go to your local honda dealership and ask 1 ov the techs......we always have spares!

 

duh. guess im gonna have to go to a dealership now to think.. where is the nearest one... haha... might have to drive like 20min blah why cant they be home depot screws! i have to go in the home depot area later ne way so ill check there just ot be sure.

 

they are just metric screws buy them at the home depot

 

You should be able to get 10mm metric bolts at home depot, they might be a little shorter or something, I don't know if they'll have exactly 1 inch or whatever, but they should work, you could even find a screw that will fit in their with a phillips or flat head on it, will be ghetto but it will hold.

 

just cus they take a 10mm wrench does NOT mean they are M10s

I'm not sure what size they are but they are not M10!!!
