92 Integra not getting Fuel!
I bought a 92 integra. Like any car it needed some work but ran flawlessly I drove it home no problems. The dash lights need a new wire to be ran cause someone removed the radio and the red and black wire grounded out and melted. I reran the Wire and got the lights working In teh process of doing so car was on jack and fell off. I know stupid should of had a jack stand. I jacked it back up set it on a stand and afterwards could not get to to fire. It will fire if i spray starter fluid in the intake. I cant find no fuse anywhere that would go to teh fuel pump so Idk if their is one and im jsut missing it or if their is not one. anyways, I have a main relay im going to swap out tomorrow and see if that fized problem. My question one is there anyways to test the wires going to teh fuel pump to make sure tehy are gettting power with out dropping the tank. Because I really do not wanna drop it if i do not have too.
Ok if i am understanding this right it is your main relay. Located on the driver side kick panel behind the coin tray near your left knee while sitting in there. Pull that coin try out and there should be a grey box somewhere in that area. These are known to go bad because the solder contacts are ba din extreme heat and cold. You could remove it and check the contacts but a new relay is worth it. Thats most likely the problem other than wiring in your case....
