Default overheating

i have a built ls/vtec. its throwing a 10 and 41 code. intake temp. and primary oxygen sensor "Heater"... i had a pin hole leak in my radiator hose i fixed that and is was driving fine for a couple days.. today it overheated like crazy... any help please??

check and see if your getting voltage to the o2 and IAT sensor

Replace your intake temp sensor and o2 sensor.

For the overheating, check you coolant level. Then check to see if your thermostat is opening and if your radiator fan is coming on.

-start your car
-feel the top radiator hose, it should get hot.
-once the thermostat opens, the lower radiator hose will get hot.
-if the lower hose doesnt get hot(be patient, it takes a while), then your thermo isnt opening(that means its bad).

*make sure you watch your temp gauge while your doing this. Make sure your car doesnt overheat while you're waiting.

well i tried that and it wasn't the case... both radiator hoses got quite hot.. also i reset the ecu and it still codes 10 and 41... any other ideas???

ok cool.... So do you just pull off the plug, then the sensor unscrews and comes right out??

yeah, should be 2 phillips head screws...
