I've been thinking of installing tweeters in my car for some time now and have been searching for the door panels with the tweeters already in them. Just curious as to where to find something like that and if i could get some pictures just to see how they are mounted it would be appreciated.

I dont know of any del Sols with component speakers from the factory. However people can photoshop anything in so you can see how it looks.

I'v been thinking about doing this myself and would be a breeze to install.

 

i actually have the jdm del sol door panels with the optional gathers tweeters in them..you can probably go to your local honda dealer and buy the VTEC del sol tweeters and install them yourself..

That looks real nice rock, care to share how you did that? Im not 100% but don't the 92-95 civic ex coupes have them factory installed? I wish i had the money for JDM goodness but alas I am poor. Also looking for a Apex'i world sport uni muffler or axle back if anyone knows anything.

 

actually just found oem tweeter kit for a del sol on ebay. anyone ever diy on this?

get tweeter, use hole saw. install tweeter, then your bumpin

this will not work since 1.) he owns a del sol, not a civic.
2.) there was no ex trim for the del sol.

 

guess im drillin with the hole saw. sounds simple enough.
