clutch for 550hp and 350tq?
MY fully built LS project is almost done, all I'm waiting for is Gearspeed to build my tranny. I need to know what some of you high hp high tq guys are running. I plan on doing some street driving but mostly drag racing. Any positive answers will be greatly appreciated.

i second joe.
i do know of a person, not gonna give names, that had to switch out a c.c. twin at atco last weekend back to the exedy because of a shifting issue. with the exedy, the issue went away.
mine is holding nicely.

Mike,
On her's/his I do believe it was the adjustment, there are too many people running the Comp with no issues at all, you do need to adjust the pedal or make a pedal stop. If it is overengaged then it won't shift so the pedal stop is very important. I know who it was who had the issue and they know what they are doing , it could have been a bad clutch, let them sedn it to Chris J at Comp Clutch before rumors start getting tossed around that Comp Clutch twins are junk
I have ran 2 of these Competition Clutch twins in my car, the regular pressure plate one and the upgraded 2800 lb one , both worked/work great!

nah not starting roumors, thats why left the name out, all i know is the issue went away with the clutch change, and if it is as easy as a pedal stop, ( i wouldnt know that because i havent used a cc twin ) great. i was just speaking from my exp.
thankyou for clarifying though terry. wasnt meant to throw anyone under the bus.
