Default Short Shifters... soo many choices!

not a noob... just forgot my old password.
Anywho, ive been shopping around for short shifters and i just dont understand why some are priced from the mid 100s all the way down to 30! Brand suggestions would be nice. Im looking for a shifter with < or = 50% of the stock throw. I also like the actual length of the shifter rather short. Any help would be great!

I got one off a group buy here on honda tech... Do a search on "evasive motorsports"

So far ive had it on a D series and a B series, for almost a year. couldnt be happier. Its alot shorter than stock, short throw, looks real good, and i think i paid 40 bucks WITH new energy suspension bushings to make it crisp and clean shifting.

DC sports...I think skunk 2 makes 'em too...any name brand is good...

Should be around the 80 dollar area for a real one (not a knock off) - Don't shop on ebay for 'em

the bent shifter is the best.

and i have B&M, amazing difference.
no clearence issues, and ive experienced NO grinding at all, just short crisp shifts

i also recommend getting Energy Suspension Shifter bushings, crisper shifts

With the single bend SS you might have to lean forward to shift depending on how tall you are. The Dual bend is closer to the shape of the stock shifter. The dual bend would be my choice, I'm still deciding if i wanna get one or not.

Skunk2 is the best.. It's really strong and shift length is perfect.

Dual bend sits closer to driver. I also love the look of the dual bends.

short shifter isn't going to make all the big of a difference, depending on what you have, most honda's have a relatively short throw. maybe a countersunk **** if you're hell-bent on shortening throw distance, but you won't notice any time differences. your money though...

B&M is an awesome shifter had one on my 88CRX. The throws were really short on it.

And it was darn good quality.

Yeahhh, those shifters are junk. And you're weak, because most anyone with half decent body mass/arm strength can break those cheap *** Egay shifters.

My reccomendation would be a stock GSR dual bend. I have one in my EG and I love it. More than short enough for me, and OEM quality!
