Default need help with gasket thickness for my build!

K so I got a decked b16a block and i balanced it's stock crank and rods with ARP bolts and chose PCTX pistons (81.25mm civic type r) they are .020" out of the hole! I have a B16B head that has been milled .010" and I opened up the combustion chambers to 82mm so the the compression height of my pistons never come in contact!

Now the only consern that I have is my domes coming in contact with the valves!!!!

(I know builders normally recommend 0.035" of clearence so that the pistons compression height never comes in contact with the head cause rods can strech about 0.030" or so...but I don't have that concern since my combustion chambers have been opened)

So should I go with .036, .040, .045 or .051: Head gasket!
Help and Thanks for any imput!!!

What are you worried about if you don't have any quench? You probably have alot of room before the side of the piston taps the chamber.

if you're out of the hole .020" you might want to get that back along with the oem .030" and go for the .051" to be safe. you could alway clay it and check for sure.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm not worried about pistons side walls hitting the combustion chamber cause I opened it up 82mm and my pistons are only 81.25mm! What I was worried about was valves coming in contact with my domes but I figured it out by mesuring how much the valves came down with my cams and I opted for a cometic 0.040" thick HG with a 83mm opening so that it wouldn't grabs some compression ( gasket needs to be 0.030" wider then combustion chamber opening)

Thanks Pat
