seized rear disc brake cable
i installed some used disc brakes from a 91 si and it came with all the full stock cables, i installed the 4040 valve and only the drivers side brake cable activates the brakes, when the passenger side does nothing.
is there any way to un seize the brake cable?
also, its seized shut, meaning the cable is pulled tight and its seized tight like that but it doesn't close the caliper.

the regular brakes stop all four wheels, but only the parking brake doesn't stop the passenger side rear. it stops the drivers side rear though.
it seems like that little arm at the caliper with the spring isn't going back.
i tried hitting it with a hammer a bit but that didnt work

seems like its just rusted and siezed then. or someone damaged the parking brake mechanism inside the caliper piston by trying to push the caliper in, instead of screwing it in as youre supposed to do.

Get a new caliper. They have warranty and it's never a bad thing to have new calipers.
