Default Need help installing my intake!

Anybody know where I can find instruction manuals online? My intake came without instructions, of course. I also would like to know if I need to reset my car's computer after I install the intake, and how to go about doing that. Thanks.

To reset you Ecu just unplug the battery for about five minutes. As far as the intake don't know what to tell you. I would find a friend that has done this before and have him help you. Once you have done put one on it's like riding a bike.

You prob should let us know what brand it is otherwise we really can't help you. You don't need to reset the ECU but it doesn't hurt.

It's and AC Autotechnic short ram intake. Pretty basic. I was hoping to do it myself, but looks like I'll have to wait for one of my boys to get some free time and help me do it. I will reset the ecu too.

if you actually just take a look at the intake arm coming off the throttle body, you should be able to figure it out. installing an intake is probably one of the easier "modifications" you can do to your car. especially sri... 10 mins.. max..

I looked at the two small cylinders branching off of the new intake, and then I looked at all of the small hoses coming from the car and it seems like there are more hoses to connect than there are complimentary connections on the new intake. It's probably just my inexperience. Should I drill a third hole in my new intake and glue on a third port?

Ok, installed after a modification on the SRI tube. Had to drill a third hole and add a port. Thanks for the advice guys.
