Default B16 swap??

I am looking at buying a 96-00 civic ex. I know that the car doesnt have much power and was wondering how hard and how much money its going to take to do a good clean swap? And how much is a professional install about??????

Depends what you want. You could slap a turbo on it and get good power or you can swap it like you said. B16a2 (legit ones) should go no more than 1500. Get a price quote around your area since all shops are different.

there is a website u can go to but alot of people like to use shops just cuz its closer.i have quoted one in my 95 dx coupe and they said about 3500 for a complete swap. but i live in so cal so everything is a lil more expensive down here. the web site if u just wanna know is where when i get my engine ill prolly get my gsr but the site is osakajdmmotors.com they havepretty much everything u need for a complete swap. if u buy it from them and have it delivered to the shop u want to do the swap then maybe around 2000+600 to 800= ur prolly lookin at 3k or a lil more for a pro swap and a clean motor. well i hope this helps
