Tokico Blue or KYB AGX??
I have a set of Omni power coilover sleeves and its starting to ride very bouncy. 2 of my struts are blown out. I just waned to know how well tokico blues are compaired to KYB AGX's. I want to get the tokicos just b/c I can get them cheap but if the AGX's are worth the performance I will get those.
well i got the same setup (KYB AGX's with Omni Power Sleeves) the ride is very stiff and sorta bouncy aswelll but then again i have my shocks set at its stiffest setting, you can always adjust that tho (4 way up front and 8 way out back). Overall it handles very very well but ive never had Tokicos' so this is just my o2 cents on the KYBs'
I have tokicos with ground control sleeves and I like them. The ride is pretty stiff but still a little bouncy. If I was going to do it again, I would get agx this time just because they are adjustable so if you don't like the way it rides you have some options.
Tokico blues SUCK compared to AGX's. I have Tokico blues on my 92 hatch w/ neuspeed springs and its pretty bouncy, doesn't handle particularly well, either. On the other side of the coin, i had KYB AGXs and Eibach sportlines on my 240sx and it was stiff as hell and handled great.
do a search, some have experiences with kyb agx blowing if dropped below 2 inches, and i forget what with the illuminas.
My agx's have held up pretty well after 3 years of abuse.
If I were to do it again, i think i would go with the koni yellows with ground controls.

Go Koni Yellow or Tokiko Illumina's.
The blues suck, the AGX's aren't too bad but for a few more bucks more why not have something great?
