Default 06 accord ex-v6 crackling windshield

purchased dec '05 and noticed a strange crackling sound from the windhield glass on the drivers side while driving. It is somehow related to the temperature and only does it when it's cold outside. Has been quiet this summer but I am planning on taking it back to the dealer this fall when the weather gets cold and the noise starts again. Car obviously drives fine but am not looking foward to a whole winter of hearing this noise everytime I am driving. I would like to know if anyone has ever heard of or experienced this problem and may know what the cause and or fix is for it, so I know what to expect before contacting the dealer. My worry is the dealer will tell me there is nothing wrong and I will had to just deal with it, but I won't accept that for a $25k car. ...........thanks

Not sure if this is related but on my 04 coupe when i hit uneven pavement i hear a cracking from around the a-pillar and the windshield, there is some service bulletin on this and the windshield has to be resealed w/ silicone sealant, it is service bulletin 04-057 which also includes some of the 06's under certain VIN frames.

I did a quick google and some people on these other boards suggest it might be the plastic of your car growing stiffer due to the cold, or your windshield cracking. If it's a new car, you should go ask your dealer about this.

EDIT:http://forums.evolutionm.net/archive.../t-116340.html <-place where I found the information.
