Default Oil light comes on when warm and engines knocking. Is this bearings?

After driving a while the oil light will come on and my engine is knocking likes its from the rod bearings. Is the oil light caused from the bearings about to go. This is a D15B6 so I'm not to worried about destroying it but how long could I drive like this?

Honda oil light = Oh **** I have no oil pressure

More than likely your oil pump may have fail which may have cause you to spin a rod, i don't know i may be wrong but I wouldn't trust it for to much longer that bearing can heat up and seize up to the crank

It's too late.

Buddy, your problem is your engine is not creating oil pressure. Two possibilities, you have no oil, or your pump is dead. Either way, the knock is there, the engine is done. Who cares tho, it's a D15B6, drive till it blows up (more then likely VERY soon) then swap a D16A6, it's a plug and play application.

Oh I'm driving this **** till it blows thats for sure. I just did a nice little tune up because I just recently bought it so I know the oil is good. I'm going to get a D16A6 though so if anybody has one let me know because this bitch is about to blow.

Pay more than a couple hundred? Wouldn't that be more than the 14 or so cars you claim to own are worth. And I thought your posts on CRXBarts thread were pointless.
