Omnipower rear coilover blown.
Has anyone had issues with a "failure" of an omnipower assembly? My right rear strut seems to have given up. I'm hearing coil slap or whatever with less than severe bumps. When I installed these units about a year and a half ago, I made sure to keep the full travel and only lowered using the threaded bottoms so I'm sort of suprised that the unit has gone.
Anyone else had a simmilar problem?

Yes they have failed in the past, but every company has parts that fail prematurely. For any real assistance diagnosing problems, it would be best to post pictures...
Are you sure the shock is "blown"? Is the car excessively bouncy now? If it's just noise problems your experiencing, you may have a different problem...

Shocks do blow out, regardless of the brand. Koni, Buddy Club, Zeal, Ohlins, whatever. It's just a matter of time and abuse. The abuse especially has a lot to do with it, if you drive over bad roads, or in the city or whatever.
