I am buying him a new compressor with dryer/oil/o-ring/etc. I have not received it through the mail yet, but I am gathering information now. An no, I do not know how much oil or where to put it.

i havent dealt with AC in a while.. but if i remember correctly... ( you *should* be using R134-a) the oil is typically mixed in with the refridgerant. its not like r-12 where you put in a seperate can of oil. most of the **** you get now.. r134-a speaking comes with oil, freon, and a stopleak all in one can.
