How do I oil an A/C compressor?
I have a '94 civic A/C compressor NIB that I need to "oil".
How do I go about this? Where do I oil it?
This is the first time EVER buying a new product (especially for A/C) and I need instructions for the "oiling".....Any help is greatly appreciated

i dont recall the capacity of the compressor, its like 4oz or something like that, BUT MAKE SURE you get your amount, compressors can vary a lot between one another.
anyways, you wanna put the oil in the intake hole of the compressor, the side that has the hotter of the two lines when running when you touch them, its the line that feeds from the condensor, pour some oil in there, and spin the compressor and shake it a little, the oil should fall in there no problem, but sometimes its stubborn. make sure you use the right oil type and amount, and also make sure there is no old oil in there.
