Default Used Race spec header

I've got a nice deal on a Race "spec" header in my area. Here are some pictures. The header is rusting; he told my they are 1,000 miles in. Is this a three-hundred dollar header? Could I polish it easily?

Edit: Does anyone know the clearance with a B16 and this header?

By 'spec' do you mean copy? Because that doesn't look like any SMSP header I've ever seen. IE: Formed collector, not merged and mild steel.

Paul said it was custom made for him with $MSP specs and the setup made 232 horsepower.

Yes, these pictures are his.

Sorry to say, but somebody lied to you.

That is not my header.

It looks like a copy of a RMF drag header and a very poor one at that.

Please remove my company's name from your post.

I personally think that defeats the purpose of this thread as if it was a good header. He might of mistaken the name. Feedback anyone?

Edit: I looked at all this information wrong. I will look for an alternate header.

even if it's a copy...

for 300 bucks, if it makes power, slap it on.
if you are worried about how it looks, get it coated.

talk him down to 280, and feel even better about it.

obviously it is a copy. and obviously the time and effort arent even close to that randy whatshisface puts into his stuff.

but, if someone had that thing ceramic coated and it didnt look like 7 pounds of **** in a 5 pound bag, would the opinions of it be so negative?

I didn't say it won't work,I was just showing the difference. That header there will work EZACTLY the same as that compact header copy that the guy is selling on here.If it had a merge collector it would be fine .Just don't open your hood.
