what is the timing setting for stock ITR...and..how do you check it
Hi again dudes..
what is the stock timing for a 98 ITR? if i want to check the setting, can i do this myself, or do i need to go to the garage?

The stock ignition timing is between 14 to 16 degrees BTDC. The best timing is at 18 degrees BTDC (depending on your set-up of course). To check it yourseft you would need a timing light. I know there is a website explaining how to do it but can't get my finger on it.

well... for a stock 55hp shot zex kit, stock setting should be ok. I have to check my plugs for black specs or signs of detonation, i just want to double check before i blow anything
