About four months ago i had my brake pads and rotors replaced and everything was fine and dandy until about 2 weeks ago when i started to hear a creaking noise coming from the front right brake. This noise is only noticable when i am braking lightly and am about to come to a stop. I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what it might be. Thanks for your help!

 

I had this exact same problem on my 02 CRV. The noise is caused by the outer rim of the front-right rotor which was being scrapped by the brake pad. My wife freaked out while driving when she heard the noise and went and got new rotors and pads installed before I could check to see what was wrong. Brakes work fine now, maybe it was a defect in the pads or rotors .. I'll let you know how it goes.
