You got that backwards. The H22 has one more rib then the H23/F22

ok, sorry...I thought all H-seires have a 6 rib pulley whereas I know the f22 has a 5 rib pulley.

So its...

h22 = 6 rib pulley
h23/f22 = 5 rib pulley

correct?

ok, so would a 6 ribbed pulley work if you were using a 5 ribed belt? i keep finding cheap oem h22 crankshaft pulleys but i want to make sure it'll work no problem for an h23.

it will work, if you just need a temporary fix...but I would search for the pulley to fit your belt. Like i said, Im gonna see how many ribs are on my pulley when I go to my grandfathers house today, and see if it will work for you.
