ive got a 1996 prelude its got parts on it, when im driving it fast the 1st gear only gives me 6500rpm could some one tell me what the hell is going on?

 

wow your car has parts on it, I would hope so. What kind of parts and Is it an H22? If it is do you have vtec?

 

well its a h22a vtec, ive got a powerflow exhaust system,jasma 421 manifold cold air induction perfomance spark plug leads and spoon vtec controller, now can u tell me what the hell is going on wif my car

 

Are you throwing a CEL?

do you mean your cars rev limit is at 6500rpm? Perhaps you should check your oil level.

 

don't hit vtec when your car isn't warmed up silly boy

 

ive had a prelude for over a yer nw dont u think i wud now that im not stupid u no the car is warmed up but it still does it and it only happens in 1st gear all the other gears r fine

 

the car is fully serviced my oil level is fine

maybe that's the maximum rpm equivalent torque velocity that the 1st gear can take from a dead stop...

CEL = check error light

and what can i do to sort this out cuz its pissin me off and i dnt wana blow my engine

 

If you're OBDII you can just take it to AutoZone or Pep Boys and they can scan it for you, IIRC.
