Don't do it while you're drunk.
Couple of nights ago, went to hang out with my friends for a birthday outing at a club. (i didn't have a drop) Just changed the oil in my friend's bike and decided that a) i needed to swish it around some in the crankcase, and b) i like riding his newer, fancier-than-mine, bike. Leave the place, go to grab some mexican food nearby, and as we're getting ready to leave, i hear some guy bouncing off the rev limiter in the parking lot while revving.
as i get to my bike and i'm putting on my gear, i see this young guy in a t-shirt in a brand new, red and black 600rr, still bouncing off the limiter while trying to talk to a pair of girls. what's hilarious is that while he's showing off he loses balance and drops the bike while stationary. i cringe for the bike's sake, and chuckle because kids can be so stupid.
i'm finished gearing up, saying my farewells when i see him take off, no helmet of course, and lose him behind the taco joint. I hear the rev's climb, a little bit of a squeal, and the inevitable *CRASH*. I jog over to see what happened and see that nice new RR on its side in the middle of the street (it was a small street, no traffic at that hour) and a bunch of parts in the road. I see the guy walking around and assume he's ok, and ask the girls (who saw it and were laughing their asses off) what happened: "he took off on the sidewalk, then off the curb, then tried to wheelie and fell, i think he's drunk?"
i wish i had a video camera because it would have been youtube-tacular...

Eh, I'm not really interested in girls who are impressed by dumb motorcycle antics anyway, so I don't ever wheelie.

when i left, which was shortly after, he was still on the sidewalk holding his (presumably bloody) head.

Darn the m squids. I am a new rider, and can't afford the insurance on a new bike because these n00bs wreck theirs sooo freaking fast, the insurance companies are paying them off for them after they wreck trying to impress equally drunk bimbos. Aaaarrrrggg!
